I have to let you know that the Lejac band was the highlight of the May Day parades for me. I lived in PG from 1968 to 1979 and looked forward to the band every year. I just discovered the school was closed in 1976 which explains why the band wasn't in the later parades! I wish your school experience was as good as my experience watching and listening to you play. I'm sorry it happened. I wasn't told anything except that was the school the band came from as we drove by it. I remember I wasn't impressed with the building. I have a faint memory of a outhouse being in the open between the school and the highway...am I hallucinating or was it really there? That would contribute to my negative reaction to the school. Anyways, Lejac had a great band! Thanks for the good music.
